Open to all the fields of heritage life, combining culture and economics, the International Heritage Show is both a showcase for quality craftsmanship, and heritage venues and sites. It contributes to the economic development of businesses.

Since 1997, the show has been the spokesperson for major heritage causes.

Theme for 2009

The Heritage of Religions

In French, from the adjective “cultuel” (worship) to “cultural”… The separation between religious and secular is marked by the letter “R”, but an “R” also links the “cultural” to the “cultuel” (religious) in the intention to preserve an exceptional heritage, movable and immovable, material and immaterial.
The places of worship are occupied by a feeling of spirituality, but also by the gestures of man the creator of works of art. Immediately accessible to the public, these works turn all the places where religion is practised into “the largest museum in the world”.

A cultural and artistic treasure that the International Heritage Show is paying tribute to this year.
