FABIENNE L’HOSTIS

Fabienne L’Hostis

CERAMIC
Valbonne, Alpes-Maritimes, Paca

The ceramist Fabienne L’hostis, who graduated in 1998 at the École des Beaux-Arts de Vallauris, applies herself to reproducing the ancestral Japanese art of Raku – meaning “happiness in the unpredictable” – via elegant modern creations in cracked enamel, of all dimensions and essentially designed for luxury interior decoration.
A ceramic world that is “poetic, made-to-measure, to serve architects’ and designers’ projects”, among which we can particularly note the Parisian restaurant Clover, opened in 2014 by Jean-François Piège, or the renovation of the Bains-Douches hotel in Paris in 2015.
