BRODELINE

BRODELINE

ANTIQUE FURNITURE RESTORATION
Tréffléan, Morbihan, Brittany

In 2000, after a BMA (Fine Craft diploma) in embroidery, Céline Le Belz created her own company, Brodeline. Since her childhood, she has nurtured a passion for this demanding skill that requires a “great deal of perseverance”. She started embroidery by creating or restoring traditional Breton costumes using age-old techniques.
She has since created modern works by “reinterpreting skills, materials and dimensions”, alone or in association with upholsterers or designers. She was awarded the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2007.
